Inger Gretland
Inger completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Oslo in 1998. She spent more than ten years working in pediatrics in a community-based setting in Norway, where she also specialized in pediatric physiotherapy at a time when no master’s programs were available in the field.
In 2009, Inger came to Zambia through an exchange program in Community-Based Rehabilitation, working in villages outside Livingstone. Since 2011, she has been based in Lusaka, working with Dynamic Physical Therapy and volunteering with organizations such as Kasisi Orphanage, Archie Hinchcliff Disability Intervention (AHDI), and Special Hope Network.
Outside of her professional life, Inger has always had a strong passion for music, having played the flute, tuba, bass guitar, and bassoon, and sung in as many as four choirs at a time. She also enjoyed conducting choirs in the evenings. Today, her main hobbies include boot camp training and mountain biking.
