Taonga Mwale
Taonga Mwale is an ecologist and the Habitat Connections Project Officer at Bats Without Borders. Her work focuses on conserving urban biodiversity by enhancing spaces for wildlife, including bats, birds, invertebrates, and amphibians, while fostering stronger connections between people and nature. With experience in field research, community engagement, and environmental education across Zambia, Taonga is passionate about Earth-care and believes that conservation begins in everyday spaces such as schools, neighborhoods, and cities. She is especially committed to inspiring more people to develop a love for nature and to take part in protecting it.
