Yongo Salasini 

Yongo is a food scientist and researcher with a Master’s degree from the University of Tokyo, where she studied agricultural development studies as part of an international and interdisciplinary program (IPADS). Her work and interests focus on food innovation, entrepreneurship, and the role of local foods, especially edible insects, in supporting food security, culture, and environmental sustainability.

 

She is passionate about art in many forms (especially in anime form!), having been raised in an art loving family that currently runs an art gallery (Zeela Art Gallery & Homestay) and mentoring young people via her leadership role in The Launchpad Collective, a career guidance and mentorship organization.
